In July Kenzie and I again attended the Silver Creek Ranch Fiddle School outisde Water Valley, AB. After the auditions, we both ended up in the advanced class together, which was challenging and fun at the same time. In August, I attended the Fiddlemania Fiddle Teacher's Course in Cochrane. The Fiddlemania faculty were outstanding, and I'm coming back with new ideas and inspiration for our 2009-2010 season.
This year we are pleased to welcome Dave Foster as our new keyboard accompanist. Dave is a teacher, a member of the Prairie Mountain Fiddlers, and the week one director of the Alberta Society of Fiddlers' Silver Creek Ranch Fiddle School. Dave will be playing keyboards with us at our performances this year. Welcome Dave!
